Speedbet ante post gambles ahead of the Cheltenham Festival
five to follow
E/W ante post value at the festival
Brain Power : Champion Hurdle
Yes yes yes the Henderson Champion will take some stopping but this lad looks like he will be value now reverting back to timber after a decent stint over the larger obstacles and if you look around you can still get 16/1 NRNB so much more value in it as if he does not make the starting line up you will get your money back.
Simply Ned & Gods Own : Champion Chase
No horse in training is better than Altior so taking the 4/11 is a waste of time but I will be surprised if more than 8-10 make the starting line up come the day so taking the 20/1 and 50/1 on offer for these two makes sense as it is NRNB so money back should either not run. Some really good value in this race but I expect a few to take on the 2m5f chase instead and that will put Simply Ned around 8s-12s so get in fast
Elegant Escape : Gold Cup
This years gold cup is full of great horses and it could turn into a stamina test and Elegant Escape will be staying on when most are not.He reminds me of Synchronised who won the same race when his stamina kicked in and you can get him around 25/1 with non runner no bet
West Approach : Stayers Hurdle
This horse has this race written all over and the 16/1 NRNB looks as good value as any ante post bet at this years Cheltenham.he ran well when defeated by the fav Paisley Park over the weekend and will be primed to go for it this year
remember all selections are Non Runner No Bet and are each way
